Well I guess enough kissing ass and time to get to the topic at hand.  I have ADHD, have been diagnosed since I was 7.  Long story short is I can relate and understand how things of this nature can make life and especially school and work difficult (took a while for me to get my degree, but persistence pays off), stressful and just want to pull all my hair out and scream at the top of my lungs at times.  Thankfully there is humor, and in my opinion it is the maintainer of sanity in this crazy existence called the human condition.

Keep the quirky and real you coming, good work...

I suspect that mild forms of "OCD" are fairly commonplace.  I'm easily distracted by meaningless numerical relationships.  I was getting coffee at Starbucks and was looking at the tips jar and it occurred to me that "tips" spelled backwards is "spit".  I shared this epiphany with the girl who waited on me.  She was not amused.

I think that obsessive/compulsive behavior is OK in moderation.  What I mean by "moderation" is that the behavior doesn't make you hard to get along with.  I expect you know what I mean.  Some people have to have everything a certain way and will make your life hell because of trivial shit that drives them crazy.

So far I've only seen a few of your videos.  You have a wonderful comic flair.  If you do videos on serious subjects I'd be interested in that too.  Have you done anything that deals with the BP oil spill?

Unique Lisa Nova stuff.  Anything you find interesting.  This video is a good example!!  Odd random stuff the Lisa Nova thinks is cool.

And if you really knew me, you'd know I think too much and at my core there's this unshakeable positivity that exists despite my outer appearance.

So I really do believe that every soul is challenged throughout life, no matter how perfect that life appears to be.

You involve yourself in a lot of different entertainment, companies, etc. but I've never seen you do something serious with music, like an artist of the week or The Nova prize.

PS. Not sure if you have before, but you should parody female tv news anchors. Both my parents are news anchors and I find everything about who those people (anchors in general) are on and off the camera hysterical.

No, I haven't seen that show, but I know what it is chronicling because we had the same assemblies in middle and high school. They were called "Challenge Days" and there was basically a group of professionals, like life coaches, therapists, educators, student helpers, etc who get booked to go from school to school and hold these challenge days. Then after the Challenge days, there would be posters and such up encouraging kids to be kind and understanding to each other. I remember it really made a difference in my very "cliquey" high school . For me personally, high school was a very tough, emotional time for me and I felt very separate from any kind of community. I had had many days where I was sad and alone in the hallway surrounded by people but no one would say a thing to me. Then we started the challenge days. I remember one day I was going through something, and it was in between classes, I left my classroom and was crying in the hallway, by myself. Then this girl, who was a very popular girl, who would have never talked to me before, stopped and asked me if I was ok and if there was anything she could do to help. I was so shocked that I just said I was ok and thanks. But just that outreached hand of kindness, sort of snapped me out of the all alone feeling and I stopped crying. I'll never forget that.

I saw that show last night and it was extremely inspiring. They should go to every junior high and highschool in the country and do that  with the kids. I bet it would help tremendously to get through those hard awkward years. If you really knew me you would know that i am so over the top freaked out about something happening to my daughter that I don't function sometimes because of it. She is 4 and is my whole world. I love her soo much that I am a bit too over protective of her...... sometimes to a fault.

I just wanted to say you are one of the best youtuber's out there and i love every single video you have made and i love that show that you were talking about!!!! I haven't seen it but i have been meaning to and i never record it so i don't have time to watch it but something about myself is that i like to go to concerts excessively with my friend and i always lose all my money on that and I end up oweing them like 200 or 300 dollars lol but i paid them back last night and i saw lady gaga last night also and it was crazy everyone had costumes on to look just like her and there alot of gays i felt kind of awkward loland i had floor seats i was so close to her it was awesome though anyways your great you better vlog till you die jk lol

I want to thank you for the live chat yesterday. It was really fun and when I told you stuff, you actually listened xD Made really happy because even though you are big on youtube, you are really approachable! And even though it's ridiculous i decided to go to you, and not my friends, I kinda feel like they are too close, for them to know that stuff about me and I know I'd appear as a different person and all that. But it felt really good talkin to you.
